If I had a Million Dollars

If I had a million dollars to spend at Sylvia Park first  I would buy EB games, go to Hoyts and watch clown with my parents and eat yummy food. 

We start watching it soon as. It starts, they start to get frightened. Then in the middle of the movie they Started to fall asleep. 

When it finishes we have a feed. I would have butter chicken, Mcdonalds and Burger King. Man wasn't that delicious. Now we are full. 

Then we go to get some ice cream and mum gets 2 scoops with goody goody gumdrops and chocolate. Dad gets 3 scoops, cookies and cream, mint and vanilla and finally My choice. I will get 4 scoops. Wow! Chocolate, cookies and cream, goody goody gumdrops and sorbet. Mmm wouldn't that taste so nice. 

We would go to the warehouse to get clothes, toys, shoes, socks and dvds.

Next we'd visit Time zone and try win cool stuff. 

Then we will get 100 dumplings. Mmm, 30 for me, 30 for mum and 40 for dad what a pig. Then we would finally go home. Zzzz there goes dad. Bye, thanks for reading, byeeee.

Holiday recount

On The holidays We went to laser strike and it was amazing. my cousins ephraim and terry came. and my aunty and uncle.

first we went to the man and he was getting it ready. and then we played  this BasketBall game while we were waiting and when we finished that we only got 2 tickets.

I wanted heaps of tickets because you can by some amazing looking toys. then we played This chocolate game you had to control it.

and I got nothing but my cousin ephraim got four and then we ate it.

And It Was Delicious. Then we went and looked at laser web and It looked awesome.

Then ephraim found laser strike and it looked cool. Then we ran back down and the man was ready. And then he took us up stairs. Then he took us In this secret room and it was cool.

Then we watched a video And it told us about the rules we weren't aloud to run we weren't aloud to lie down or sit down  I would tell you more rules but It takes for ages.

Then finally we played. When we went in we saw the blue team they almost got me. then I got the yellow team. And there weapon was deactivated.

Then this tall guy in the red team got me and someone was following me.

Then I shot him. Then there Was this little thing up the sealing and i shot it for

200,0 points. And I was camping then this little girl shot me.

And my weapon was deactivated.

Then After 1 hour Our weapon told us that it was finished.

Then we went back up and put our flack jackets away and Then she took Us back down the stairs and showed us the points and we came last.

but it Was fun then We went back Real home and had a Good day.

Creative Paragraphs- Man in Space

This week we have been learning to rework our writing to make our paragraphs interesting for our audience. We started by writing a creative sentence about this picture. As a class we will choose Nate's sentence because we liked it the best and wrote a paragraph each to follow the chosen sentence. Here is the beginning of my story that starts with Nate's sentence.

A spaceman bravely walks out into the icy milkyway. “Your mission is to find the hidden bomb before it explodes destroying the village!” says a voice through the ear mic. The spaceman moves towards the milky way’s portal which will take him to the village.

He takes a step into the portal. It feels strange as he spins slowly at first and then quicker and quicker. 6mins later he arrives at the village.

There were strange looking people and strange looking pets. Then he said in a loud voice “has anybody seen a bomb?” The leader stomped towards him and says “yes.” “It’s in a castle that's surrounded by guards that have dangerous weapons like guns, swords, grenades and other bad stuff. This will be a tough mission. We will help you!” the people said.

The spaceman thinks of a plan. He asks them “Do you have any weapons?”  “Yes” the people replied “we have ”. Then he said what kind of weapons. Sticks they all said. Sticks? The man was confused.

But suddenly he had an idea. He said "Do you have any string?" They said "yes." The man said "we could make arrows. But what does the castle look like?" "Its spooky and it hasn't even been cleaned since the 1980s."

Visiting the Endeavour

Back in the olden days people had scurvy's. When people had telescopes they use to look through it and they saw strange things.

Today we are learning to define new words and make sentences.

Year 5&6 Camp

On Wednesday we went to year 5 & 6 camp. It was cool as! When we got there we had to wait in the hall. We did not have to wait that long. Some people were playing with their hand balls on the ping pong table and  some people were chucking their hats in the hoop. Finally all the teachers came, put us in groups ready to begin our first activity. There were All stars, Commitments, Matapono e, True crew, Real dealz and the best team The Honest Squad. I was in that group. My leaders were TJ and Rosalina.

Our first activity was practicing our song for the concert. Our song for it was Kung fu Fighting. There were all sets of fighting moves.

Then after that we went to the ping pong table, rollerskates and shooting basketball in the hoop. We had so much fun there! That was the best time at camp.

Then we went to top town. There was another name for it the another name was called kill zone!  but you don't die in there its just called that. But do you Know who won the top town?  

After that we went to to have some morning tea. I had luncheon sandwiches with sauce, tomato sauce. Then someone in my team called Isaac he stole my sandwich. I did not mind he was my friend.

Then we went to the Pools the Pools that is next to point england school we went there to have a shower and a swim It was cool as! then I got so cold I wanted to hop out then I had a shower the warmest! shower! ever!!! then I got out then I got changed Into my clothes. Then we played games for like 2 hours. We played soccer touch handball and we Had so much fun playing the games. Then we had dinner there were nachos mince rice a bun. I ate all of it. Then we had dessert it was called ice cream sandwiches. After that we went to watch a movie it was the lego movie.Then finally we got to go to sleep in our tent. Thankyou for reading bye.

My best holiday

On the holidays me my brother my mum and her boyfriend went camping in pukehina beach. so  can spend time with our mum and that was the best day i have had there.

We went swimming in the beach there were big waves i got caught in  curve. and it flipped me over heaps of time i almost drowned.

Then we went fishing and i build a sandman then i put my glasses on it and i called it franke.  and i forgot my glasses and when i checked.   my glasses weren’t there and we catched no fish but we still had a yummy dinner i had bacon and chinese sausage and lime drink with fish and chips and a ice block.

Then when we were going to sleep we watched the movie Norbit and it was funny then we woke up and went for another swim. and big as wave hit me like 4 times then my brother got himself  into a curve and he almost drowned to. and my mum was scared and me to so we went back home and had dinner then when i woke up my mums boyfriend was gone.

Then we packed our stuff and and went back home. it was boring because our wifi got turned off because we did not have enough money for it and l was not happy. but it was great there and we had fun the end.   

                                        

Exercise Investigation

In room 9 And 10 we have been learning to do a statistical investigation. First we asked a question. Then we worked out the answer and presented it in a graph. Lastly we worked about what we found out. I hope you enjoyed our investigation.
